Prepare/Organize
I decided to go the nylon washer route. I know many don't give a rat's ass but I prefer rashless modules. I also never use power tools to screw in my modules. That to me, is a BIG NO-NO. But that is a whole other story. After getting my first bag of them from Detroit Modular I noticed that many of the screws that came with the modules were not long enough with the washers so I got longer screws and more washers. They are fairly cheap from DM and they are worth it to me.
When I went grocery shopping the other day I came across these for $1.80 a pack and bought two. Not only are they great for organizing other wires and cables but they really come in handy to organize your patch.
